At M F Frames Ltd we are proud to count amongst our customers private and public sector Hospitals, Museums, Architects and Councils. We can frame photographs, certificates, sport related gifts – almost anything for the business world or office environment. We also source pictures, prints or paintings for office refurbishment or new build furnishing.
We are able to produce quality and quantity to meet the tightest of deadlines and are always happy to meet with our corporate customers, on site, to discuss their requirements.
Materials
We only use conservation quality materials, to protect our customer’s work - all the mounting boards, are Ph neutral, and we have various types of glass offering different levels of protection from harmful UV rays.
Finshes
Plain woods can be hand coloured, stained or waxed to exactly suit requirements, mount cards can be finished with a hand painted wash line mount – where necessary bespoke swept/decorated frames can be made to measure.
Fabric items
All tapestries/cross stitches are stretched by hand lacing over an acid free backing board. We also frame batik pieces in the same way as oil paintings, by putting onto stretcher bars.
Restoration Service
Sometimes older pieces of artwork can suffer from such problems as damp, insect infestation or damage by handling. We use several professional conservators who will assess damage to watercolours, oils or original prints and quote for restoration or conservation, accordingly.
